If you don’t see the information that you are looking for below, don’t worry. Give us a call! We’d be happy to address your questions and concerns.

How do I get emergency orthodontic care?

The first step when seeking emergency care is to give us a call. This way, you can talk to a member of our staff so they can give you further guidance. Whether you have a broken wire, toothache, loose tooth, or another orthodontic issue, we’re happy to help. We offer same-day appointments for those who are suffering from an orthodontic emergency. Don’t know if your issue is an emergency? Give us a call anyway so we can take the next steps to address the issue.

What level of education is required to be an orthodontist?

All dentists in the United States must have received either a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or a Doctor of Dental Sciences (DDS) from one of the 67 Accredited dental schools in the United States. To get accepted into dental school, you must have a bachelor’s degree. Dental school is three years with a combination of classroom and hands-on learning. When earning a specialization, like orthodontics, you much complete another three or more years of training in that area. On top of that, all dentists are required to complete a certain number of continuing education hours to keep their license.

What is the best age to see an orthodontist?

Contrary to popular belief, any age can be a great time to see an orthodontist. You are never too old to begin working on a healthier smile that makes you feel confident. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children first visit an orthodontist around the age of seven. However, children and teens are only a portion of orthodontic patients. In fact, one in every five orthodontic patients is over the age of 21!

How do I schedule a no-cost consultation?

An orthodontic consultation, we will examine your (or your child’s) smile and talk about concerns that you have. We will either determine that treatment is unneeded, treatment is needed in the future, or treatment can start right away. During this time, we will also go over the financial aspects of treatment so you know exactly what to expect. The great thing about this consultation is that it is complimentary. To schedule your visit, either give us a call directly or send us a consultation request. If you choose the latter, one of our friendly team members will call you as soon as possible.
